Healthcare Privacy Attorney / 3-5 yrs. / Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco or Palo Alto
A top ranked law firm is seeking a Healthcare Privacy Attorney with 3-5 years of relevant experience, including expertise in health care related laws, to join their Practice Group in Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, San Francisco or Palo Alto. Candidate must be enthusiastic about the intersection of privacy, health care, and technology and have in-depth expertise in HIPAA and health care data privacy, as well as experience implementing the intricacies of privacy laws in health care organizations. Qualified candidates will also have expertise in state data privacy laws (such as CCPA/CPRA), GDPR, COPPA, data security incident response, and drafting, reviewing, and negotiating health care and privacy-related contracts and provisions, including HIPAA business associate agreements. Seeking a candidate with strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent academic credentials, writing and communication skills are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the state bar coinciding with the office of hire will be a condition of employment. California: the expected salary range for this position is between $250,000 – $355,000. Denver Applicants: Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Denver based position is between $250,000 – $355,000. New York Applicants: Pursuant to the New York City Human Rights Law, the expected salary range for this position is between $250,000 – $355,000.
