Private Wealth Attorney / Houston
The Private Wealth Practice Group of an AmLaw 100 law firm is seeking an attorney with 1-3 years of experience in estate planning and probate law, including drafting trust agreements and/or advising on trust administration matters, drafting Wills and incapacity documents, probating estates (including assisting in preparation of estate tax returns), drafting family limited partnerships and related family corporate-type documents. Experience in forming and advising 501(c)(3) entities and/or other charitable entities would also be helpful. This candidate will work with clients to implement sophisticated estate planning and asset protection planning techniques, including family limited partnerships, intentionally defective grantor trusts, grantor-retained annuity trusts and private foundations. This candidate would also work closely on estates including title transfer work and tax compliance work related to the same. The position is in Houston and candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas.
