Labor & Employment Litigation Associate Attorney / 4+ yrs. / Denver
An international law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 4 or more years of experience as described herein to join their team in Denver. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience litigating wage and hour class and/or collective action claims under the Colorado Wage Act and Fair Labor Standards Act, along with experience interpreting Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division regulations, rules and interpretative guidance materials. Qualified candidates need to demonstrate experience and proficiency drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery, drafting and arguing motions, including motions to decertify a conditional class, and experience taking and defending depositions. Potential candidates will be required to submit writing samples demonstrating this level of proficiency. Successful candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The starting salary range for this position will be: $175,000 – $215,000.
