Labor & Employment Attorney / 1 to 3 yrs. / Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Miami, San Antonio, Tampa, West Palm Beach
A top ranked firm seeks a Labor & Employment Attorney with 1 to 3 years of defense experience to join their team in either: Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Miami, San Antonio, Tampa, West Palm Beach. Employment counseling and litigation experience (before federal & state courts and government agencies) is required, together with excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills. The ideal candidate should have experience with counseling employers regarding labor and employment law issues, conducting witness interviews and investigations, drafting position statements, preparing employee handbooks and policies, drafting employment agreements and separation agreements, conducting due diligence for corporate transactional matters, and managing employment-related litigation. This position can generally be performed remotely, but Attorneys may occasionally be asked to work in and/or attend team building events in the office. Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and be a member of the relevant jurisdiction depending on office location. Membership in multiple state bars is preferred but not required.
