Fund Formation Attorney / Chicago
Seeking a mid-to-senior level fund formation associate attorney with excellent academic credentials to join a highly regarded Corporate practice. The person hired for this position will be integrated into a dynamic team and can expect to assume such responsibilities as: managing client relationships; drafting agreements; helping to lead the coordination and execution of successful transactions; and, supporting the practice by performing research and writing as needed. Candidate requirements: 4-8 years of legal experience in a major national or international law firm; experience in the structuring, formation and management of private equity funds; the ability to concisely and effectively communicate complex matters in oral and written form; and, additional experience in mergers and acquisitions a plus. Additionally, candidate should be licensed or eligible to practice law in Illinois and be in good standing.
