Complex Business Litigation Attorney / 5-6 yrs. / San Francisco
A top ranked law firm is seeking a Complex Business Litigation Attorney with 5-6 years relevant experience to join their Practice Group in San Francisco. Qualified candidates will have substantial experience with complex business litigation in state and federal courts, including conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings, conducting/defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions in both state and federal court. Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations and experience with trial preparation is preferred. The ideal candidate will have sophisticated document drafting skill, the ability to lead cases and supervise more junior attorneys, and must be comfortable with direct interaction with partners, clients, and opposing counsel. Seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer, who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice in a busy, collegial environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Litigation Department. AmLaw 100 experience preferred. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a positive attitude and an exceptional work ethic, are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the California Bar. Pursuant to the CA Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the expected salary range for this position is between $295,000 – $355,000.
