Business Litigation Attorney / 2-4 yrs. / Detroit
A nationally respected law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join their group in Detroit The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with complex business litigation in state and federal courts, including conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings, conducting/defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions in both state and federal court. Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations and experience with trial preparation is welcome. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. To be considered, a candidate must hold a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the Michigan Bar.
