Attorney / Pittsburgh – Conflicts Review Counsel

A highly regarded international law firm is currently seeking a Conflicts & Business Intake Compliance Counsel who will be responsible for identifying potential conflicts of interest arising out of new business intake and the hiring of lawyers and staff joining the firm. This administrative position will assist lawyers and staff in resolving potential conflicts and provide support to Office of General Counsel in implementation of risk management strategies relating to new business intake and hiring as well as other legal matters involving the firm. Requirements: JD with a minimum of 5 years of experience as practicing lawyer in a business law firm environment. Member of the State Bar of PA or CA and in good standing. Strong organizational and planning skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete under time constraints. Strong interpersonal skills essential to permit effective communication in person, by email and telephone with a diverse group of lawyers and staff. Prior experience as a conflicts review lawyer or analyst, or experience in legal ethics, conflicts analysis and/or review, representation of law firms and the like highly preferred. Limited domestic travel may be required.
