Employment Litigation Associate / 3-5 yrs. / Los Angeles or San Francisco
A leading international law firm, regularly recognized for its leadership on diversity and inclusion in the legal industry, is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with three to five years of employment law experience to join its practice group in Los Angeles or San Francisco. Candidates must be admitted to the California bar, have strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing skills, and experience must include court appearances and depositions, preferably with an AmLaw 100 law firm. Ideal candidates will have experience in single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, handling wage and hour matters, and client counseling. Experience should also include drafting work such as: motions to compel arbitration; discovery requests and responses; oppositions to motions for class certification (including declaration gathering drives); long-form settlement agreements in wage and hour class/collective actions; and, separation agreements, offer letters, arbitration agreements, and PIIAs. Experience with conducting labor due diligence on M&A deals is also highly preferred. Compensation range: $260,000 to $390,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
