An AmLaw 50 firm is actively seeking a Benefits & Executive Compensation Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join their practice group in either Chicago, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco or Washington, D.C. This is a hybrid position which generally calls for 2 days in the office. The ideal candidate will have experience advising on employee benefits matters, such as qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, fiduciary governance, nonqualified plans, and advising on compensation and benefits issues in corporate transactions, including ESOP transactions. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, a can-do, problem-solving attitude, intrinsic motivation, and strong academic credentials are required. Large law firm benefits experience is preferred but not required. The salary range for this position in New York is $270,000 – $305,000. Actual salary will vary and may be above or below the range based on relevant skills, training, experience and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
