Corporate Franchise Associate / 3-5 yrs. / Denver
A top ranked national law firm is seeking a Corporate Franchise Associate with 3 to 5 years of transactional franchise experience to join their team in Denver (remote/flexible work arrangement may also be available). This is an opportunity to join a rapidly-expanding, national franchise practice that values long-term collegiality. The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn and grow in serving the franchise community, and should have familiarity with franchise disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and other franchise compliance documents, as well as experience expediting state franchise registrations, responding to comment letters, preparing default and termination notices, and advising clients on regulatory, relationship, and compliance matters. Experience with mergers and acquisitions in the franchise space, international franchise licensing transactions, and dispute resolution is also a plus. Excellent legal research, writing and analytical skills are required. Must possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and have bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) in Colorado. Starting salary range: $172,500 – $225,000 Bonus: Discretionary bonus eligibility.
