Venture Capital Associate / 4+ / Los Angeles
A top national law firm is seeking a Venture Capital Associate with a minimum of four years of experience for their Los Angeles office. Associates with demonstrated experience leading venture finance transactions, M&A and corporate governance matters are heavily requested. Additionally, seeking Associates with fund formation and deal management experience. Ideal candidates will have strong familiarity with startup/financing documents, including convertible notes, SAFEs (simple agreements for future equity), priced equity rounds, the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) model documents, SAFTs and Token offerings. Ideal candidates will also have solid transactional experience, including drafting commercial agreements, negotiating with opposing counsel, and leading teams on diligence and closing transactions. Admission to the California bar is a condition of employment. The base annual pay range for this role is between $295,000-$400,000.
