Private Client Attorney / 3+ yrs. / New York
A large and well established law firm is seeking a Private Client Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their practice in New York. Successful candidates will have experience in estate planning and administration functions, such as preparing trust agreements and wills, handling probate proceedings, administering trusts, preparing estate tax returns, and experience handling elder law matters, including Medicaid planning and guardianships. Estate litigation experience a plus. Candidates must be collaborative and motivated to succeed in a client-focused, team-oriented environment. Candidates must also have excellent academic credentials, strong written and oral communications skills, and the ability to produce top quality work with minimal supervision. Admission in NY is required and admission in NJ is strongly preferred. The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $245,000 – $305,000. Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors consistent with applicable law.
