Tax Attorney / 4-6 years / Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Tampa, or Washington, D.C.
A nationally respected law firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level Tax Attorney with 4-6 years of relevant experience to join their team in either Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Tampa, or Washington DC. Qualified candidates must have experience in tax matters related to fund formation, investment management transactions and partnership taxation. Experience in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, representing buyers and sellers in transaction tax matters, tax counseling experience for choice of entity, LLC agreement and tax-side transactional work preferred. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Top academics and experience required. AmLaw 100 experience strongly preferred. To be considered, the attorney must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school, with a background in tax, such as an LLM or concentration of classes in income tax-related subjects. Candidate must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the state Bar coinciding with office of hire will be a condition of employment. Pursuant to the CA Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, the expected salary range for this position is between $275,000 – $375,000.
