Litigation Attorney / 2-5 yrs. / Kansas City
One of the nation’s largest law firms is seeking an litigation attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their team in Kansas City. The ideal candidate will have some employment litigation experience however, candidates with a few years of general civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply. This opportunity includes working as part of a team handling litigation matters from start to finish, including responding to pleadings, managing discovery, taking depositions, arguing motions, and participating in mediations. Additionally, the attorney will work with clients on various day-to-day matters, and have the opportunity to educate clients to guide them through challenging moments with their business. Attorneys must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, commitment to and empathy for their fellow team members, and a relentless commitment to growth and client service. Admission to the Missouri Bar is required. Kansas Bar admission is preferred.
