Business Litigation Associate / 2-5 yrs. / Minneapolis
A consistently top ranked global law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their practice in Minneapolis. This position offers the opportunity to practice in all phases of general commercial, civil, and business litigation matters with a national and international client base. Candidates should have significant prior experience in complex commercial litigation, including, ideally, trade secret and non-compete litigation, intellectual property litigation, or merger and acquisition litigation. Successful candidates will have law firm experience in a litigation-based practice with particular emphasis on litigation procedure, including the discovery process and e-discovery, motion practice, and brief writing. Deposition, hearing, and oral argument experience is a plus. Excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization skills, attention to detail, writing and analytical skills are required.
