Banking & Finance Associate / Kansas City

A respected national law firm has an immediate opening in Kansas City for a Banking & Finance Associate. Relevant and desired experience would include all aspects of commercial lending work, including cash flow lending, acquisition finance, asset based loan transactions, real estate loan transactions and floorplan financing; preparation and review of documents; familiarity with most types of security issues, particularly lien perfection issues and filing requirements; and familiarity with most types of loan related documents, including credit agreements, security agreements, deeds of trust, indemnities, UCC’s, guaranties, subordination agreements, and intercreditor agreements. Job Requirements: The candidate must have a strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with a team, superior judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action.
