Environmental Attorney / 4+ yrs. / Ft. Lauderdale
A highly regarded Florida law firm is seeking an Environmental Attorney with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in environmental law, with an emphasis on federal and/or state environmental regulation and law, to join their Ft. Lauderdale office. Attorneys who have worked for a regulatory agency or local government are encouraged to apply. Additional experience in land use and/or local government law is beneficial. This position involves extensive legal and regulatory analysis and counseling involving all facets of local, regional, state and federal environmental law and permitting, including Chapters 373 and 403, Florida Statutes, and the federal Clean Water Act, as well as the regulations promulgated thereunder.
Must have Florida Division of Administrative Hearings proceedings experience. Membership in Good Standing with the Florida Bar (minimum of 4 years), along with Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university are required. Flexible work arrangements can be made. Salary commensurate with experience and will be accompanied by a competitive bonus and benefits package.
