Private Equity Attorneys / New York
A global Private Investment Funds group is seeking an experienced Private Equity Attorneys to join as Associates and off-track attorneys (Practice Attorneys) in New York. The attorneys will become part of a dedicated client team that works with the leader in the secondaries market. This position will give unique exposure to the largest and most complex secondary transactions in the market, whether they are in the US, Europe or Asia, spanning from LP portfolio sales or purchases to GP led restructurings, continuation funds and spin outs. Focus will be on all aspects of those deals including their structuring, their execution, their financing and their syndication (through fundraising from a large pool of international institutional
investors). The client team is a tight knit, energetic, interdisciplinary team working seamlessly across Europe and the US. The position will require the candidate to quickly be able to take responsibilities and
work directly with client and counterparties. The position also requires good project management skills
to be able to efficiently guide and close large and complex deals. Fund experience (either on sponsor, LP
side &/or in secondaries) or M&A/LBO experience is preferable. Starting salary range has not yet been released. Employer historically has a very competitive salary range, excellent benefits and generous bonus structure.
