Our History
Our founder, George Howard, was one of the original principals of Wells International Legal Search in New York City in the early 1970’s. By 1983, Wells had become the largest and most respected legal search firm in the country. When it was acquired by an overseas search firm, the principals relocated to different areas of the country. To this day, most of the premier legal search firms in the country trace their roots to Wells International.
Mr. Howard relocated to Palm Beach, Florida in 1983 and founded George Howard Associates. John G. Williams joined Mr. Howard as a legal search consultant in 1985 and became president of Howard/Williams Associates in 1995. Richard Rahaim, Esq. joined in 1992 and, in 1998, the firm was renamed Howard, Williams & Rahaim, Inc.
