Tax Attorney / Boston, Chicago, New Jersey, New York, Miami or Philadelphia
A top ranking U.S. law firm seeks an attorney with three to six years of experience for its expanding Tax Practice Group. The ideal candidate should possess a general federal income tax background with emphasis in corporate and partnership taxation. The ideal candidate should have experience in representing private equity in connection with its transactions including drafting tax provisions related to such transactions (stock purchase and asset agreements and LLC operating agreements). Applicants with outstanding writing, analytical skills and technical skills along with excellent academic credentials, a commitment to excellence and who is friendly and collegial, is desirable. Law firm or Big 4 accounting firm experience is preferred. This can be a hybrid position and candidates may be based in Boston, Chicago, New Jersey, New York, Miami or Philadelphia. The target annual pay range for this role in New York City is $285,000 – $385,000. Positions outside of New York City will be subject to annual pay ranges specific to the market for that particular geographic location.
