Real Estate Transactional Attorney / 2-4 yrs. / Chicago, Phoenix or Washington DC
An international law firm is seeking an Real Estate Transactional Attorney with 2-4 years of experience to join their nationally top ranked and internationally recognized team in either Chicago, Phoenix or Washington DC. Candidates should have excellent academic credentials and proven analytic ability. Hospitality industry experience is a plus. Additionally, large and sophisticated deal and transaction experience is preferred. Expected responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Reviewing, drafting and negotiating letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, hotel management, license and franchise agreements, joint ventures and other related documents; Hotel financing, including negotiation of loan documents and related deliverables; Handling deal closings; and, Performing due diligence and other aspects of transactional work as required. Candidate must be licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state where the hired candidate will be practicing. Washington DC candidates may also be licensed in any US state or territory if they are also eligible to waive into the Washington, DC Bar pursuant to DC Court of Appeals Rule 49 and agree to apply for an Exception to admission immediately upon accepting an offer of employment.
