Patent Litigation Associate / Madison
A dynamic national Intellectual Property practice group seeks a mid-level IP Litigation attorney with 3-6 years of experience. An undergraduate degree or an advanced degree in a technological or scientific field is preferred, but not required. Strong research capabilities and exemplary writing skills are a must. The ideal candidate would have experience representing clients in all stages of patent litigation including:
- Pre-filing investigations through appeal, including conducting pre-suit due diligence investigations;
- Managing complex discovery and discovery negotiations;
- Assisting in taking and defending depositions;
- Drafting pleadings, motions, and pre-trial briefings, and;
- Drafting appeal briefs.
Experience with regards to trademark and other intellectual property litigation is also strongly desirable. The candidate must have a very strong academic record.
