Patent Attorney / Boston
A well regarded global law firm is seeking a Patent Attorney to be resident in their Boston office and support strategic counseling for healthcare IT, digital health, life sciences AI, computational biology, and more, for healthtech and biopharma companies. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building strategic IP portfolios for innovative companies that value intellectual property, be admitted to the patent bar, and have at least 2 – 4 years of experience with all aspects of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution and counseling related to software technologies, particularly in the medical or life sciences context. Prior firm experience is required. Additionally, attorneys must have a technical background in computer science, data science, computer engineering, or equivalent discipline, and experience in preparation and prosecution of patent applications related to digital health, medical devices, or life sciences.
