Labor & Employment Associate Attorney / 2+ yrs. / Houston
A top rated law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 2 or more years’ experience to join their team in Houston. The candidate must be admitted to the bar in Texas or preparing to obtain such admission in 2024 through reciprocity with another state, have excellent academic credentials, and have spent the majority of their career to date in the area of employment law. The Attorney will provide meaningful responsibility for employment-related counseling, transactional drafting, and litigation matters (single plaintiff and collective/class actions), including issues involving hiring and separation, wage and hour, EEO, non-compete and trade secrets, employment policies and agreements, due diligence for corporate transactions, employee accommodation and leave issues, investigations, public accommodation access for persons with disabilities, OSHA, and any other employment law issues. The candidate should have strong research and writing and public speaking skills, and experience and responsibility in a broad base of employment issues.
