Insurance Regulatory & Transactional Associate / 2-6 yrs. / New York
A U.S. based international law firm is seeking an Insurance Regulatory & Transactional Associate with 2-6 years of experience to join their group in New York. The Associate will work with partners in multiple offices on a wide range of insurance regulatory matters across all lines of insurance and will work closely with insurance companies, brokers, agents, and tech companies from around the world. The position will also involve assisting on M&A, private equity transactions related to the insurance industry. Candidates with specific expertise in insurance regulatory matters at law firms, insurance companies, insurance agencies, industry groups and governmental agencies will be considered. Experience in strategic transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and investments, as well as general corporate and corporate governance experience is also preferred but not required. Qualified candidates must have a J.D. and be (and remain) licensed to practice law and in good standing in New York. The expected base salary range for New York based candidates in this position is $220,000 – $310,000.
