Consumer Financial Services Attorney / 3 – 5 yrs. / Atlanta, Hawaii, Richmond or Remote
A nationally recognized practice group is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Attorney with 3 – 5 years of experience to join their team in Atlanta, Hawaii, Nevada, or Richmond. This Consumer Financial Services group focuses on a wide range of issues involving consumer finance and privacy laws, including bank and non-bank consumer lenders, credit reporting, background screening, fair housing, debt collection, credit repair, auto finance, mortgage lending and servicing, online lending and payment processing. The ideal candidate will have state and federal court litigation experience, including experience involving retail bank litigation (UCC, EFTA, garnishments, etc.); auto finance litigation, credit card litigation, and mortgage litigation. Candidates must have excellent academic and professional credentials, superior research and writing ability, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Clerkship experience is preferred. Candidates must be admitted and actively barred in the state in which they live. High preference for Hawaii barred candidates.
