Complex Litigation Attorney / 3-4 yrs. / Chicago
An international law firm is seeking a mid-level attorney to join its Litigation Group in Chicago. Candidates must have 3-4 years of general litigation experience, with a particular focus on and/or interest in media defense, cyber matters, multi-district complex litigation, and/or intellectual property litigation. Candidates must have deposition and case management experience, as well as strong research and brief writing skills. Candidates must be admitted and in good standing with the Illinois State Bar or taking steps to become admitted in Illinois. Candidate will be expected to provide high-quality legal service to the firm’s clients, track all chargeable and non-chargeable time in keeping with the firm’s policies and standards, and participate in business development, seminars, trainings and meetings in keeping with their practice area and the firm’s policies and standards. Additionally, Candidates must have: deposition and case management experience; strong research and brief writing skills; solid academic background including a J.D. degree; and, be admitted and in good standing with the State Bar of Illinois or currently taking steps to become admitted in Illinois.
