Business Litigation Attorney / 3-4 yrs. / Chicago, Detroit, Madison, or Milwaukee
Seeking a Business Litigation Attorney with 3-4 years of experience to join a top ranked Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in either Chicago, Detroit, Madison, or Milwaukee. The attorney must have substantial experience with complex business litigation in state and federal courts, including conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings, conducting/defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions in both state and federal court. Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations and experience with trial preparation is welcome. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Attorney must hold a J.D. from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the jurisdiction(s) where the candidate is admitted. Admission to the state bar coinciding with the office of hire will be a condition of employment.
