A leading U.S. law firm is seeking an attorney to assist the Firm’s General Counsel with internal conflict of interest and risk management matters. Responsibilities include managing tight deadlines, researching and analyzing ethics and risk management issues, conducting firm-wide conflict clearance review and analysis for pre-employment hiring and file opening, and drafting waiver letters and conflict of interest screens. This position requires a Juris Doctorate degree along with strong interpersonal, organizational, research, attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of conflict of interest rules or prior conflict checking experience in a law firm setting is preferred, but not required. This associate will work solely with the General Counsel on firm internal matters. Position offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
