There is an immediate opening for a Litigation Associate in a recognized General Litigation Department in Houston. The successful candidate must be able manage cases on his/her own and be able to assist on cases managed by others. The duties include the following: Handle all aspects of litigation, including conducting discovery, taking and defending depositions, motions practice, and trial; Direct client communication; Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to provide excellent client service ; Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Law degree and Texas bar admission required; Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience; Experience in trial preparation, depositions, and motion hearings; Excellent research and writing skills; Must be able to work within a team environment and communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, with clients and other team members.
