International Tax Associate Attorney / 4-6 yrs. / Miami or New York
A top ranked law firm is seeking a highly qualified International Tax Associate Attorney with at least 4-6 years of experience to join their corporate tax practice group in our Miami or New York office. Candidates should have experience in transactional tax work, including cross-border planning and implementation. The tax group works closely with the firm’s corporate practice and advises corporations, partnerships, LLCs and other joint ventures and investment funds, as well as high net worth individuals and their closely-held businesses, on a variety of tax matters including mergers, acquisitions (both domestic and cross-border) and divestitures, transfer pricing, tax minimization strategies for multinationals and estate and trust planning and pre-immigration and expatriation tax planning for individuals. Such planning also includes family office, private equity and real estate transactional and fund formation advice. Applicants must have outstanding writing and analytical skills, excellent academic credentials, a commitment to excellence and be friendly and collegial. An LL.M. in Taxation is preferred, and fluency in other languages a plus. Bar required in jurisdiction of practice. Hybrid work environment available. The starting pay range for this role in New York City is currently $260,000-$320,000. Miami’s starting salary range is not yet released.
